Lone Star District Qualifier

for the 2019 National Tournament

Dear District Coaches,

Welcome to the Lone Star District Tournament site!  Once again we look forward to hosting some of the top competitors in the country and working with some of the best coaches around! 

This year's district tournament series comes with several important changes: 

1. We are using Tabroom for both registration and tabulation.

2. We are coordinating our IE/Debate tournaments with the Longhorn district at one location.

3. Our tournament series is in early March as opposed to April. 

On the other hand, some things stay the same:

1. Congress will be held at Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano again. 

2. We are having Novice Congress.

3. We are having a Big Questions event. 

And, most importantly, Nationals is back in Dallas again!

February 1 - Congress legislation due

February 5 - Congress legislation packets available

February 22 - IE/Debate Entries Due 

February 22 - Mail District entry fee check to make sure they are received by March 1.

February 26 - Congress Entries Due 

February 26 - Mail Congress entry fee check if not submitted with District entry fees 

March 1-2 - IE/Debate Tournament - Colleyville Heritage HS, Colleyville

March 5 - Congress Tournament - Prestonwood Christian Academy (Prestonwood Baptist Church), Plano

April 5 - Big Questions - Plano Senior High School, Plano
