Events: Open only, no novice
· IE: Combined Extemp, Original Oratory, Duo Interp, Humorous Interp, Dramatic Interp, Impromptu, Spar
· Debate Events: Policy, Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum, Congress (Student Congress on its own schedule)
Entries: Students may enter 1 debate plus 2 IE events, with the exception of extemp speakers. Extemp competitors may only do 1 IE event.

3:00-3:10 Check in (our school day isn’t over until 2:45)
3:30 Debate Rd 1 Congress -- 4:00 orientation/swearing in
5:15 Debate Rd 2 4:15ish-8:30 with half hour recess at midpoint

8:15 Extemp prep for 1st rd

Judging:
In good faith, please try to provide at least 1 judge for every 4-5 entries you have in each event. Let the tournament coordinator know if your judges are available Friday only, Saturday only, or both days.
Awards:
· 1st – 3rd place, in the case of ties, speaker points will be used.
Registration and Deadlines:
· Registration is now open on tabroom
· All changes can be made until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4

· School fee: $15.00
· Pf/cx: $8.00
· LD/Congress: $4.00
· IE: $4.00

Topics: The congressional docket and extemp topics will be posted on tabroom by November 15.
Food:
· There will be limited concessions (pizzas and muffins) plus vending machines on campus – there are very limited food options in the immediate neighborhood of Desert Hills High School so plan accordingly
· dinner will be provided for judges on Friday and breakfast and snacks on Saturday
