Capitol Beltway Fall Classic at GMU

2018 — George Mason University, VA/US

Capitol Debate cordially invites you to the 12th Annual Capitol Beltway Fall Classic on October 20th and 21st, 2018. The tournament will be hosted at George Mason University. Registration is now open on Tabroom.

We will offer varsity competition in Public Forum Debate. We are pleased to announce that the tournament has been designated by the TOC as a Finals bid qualifier in Public Forum debate. Because of extenuating circumstances, we will not be hosting Lincoln Douglas.  Lincoln Douglas will return in 2019. There will be 6 preliminary debates and then a requisite amount of elimination debates based on the number of participating teams. Students will debate the September-October topic.

Look forward to seeing you!
