We'll be hosting three rounds of Policy debate at the Humboldt tournament on Saturday October 13th! Rookies/Novices will have three normal rounds, JV/Varsity will debate rounds 1 and 2 but round 3 will be a panel/discussion led by the MDTA Equity Committee. This is a great opportunity for students to reflect on experiences of their own and others in the community. 

Also, please make sure you have parental contact information for your students and/or important medical information in case of a medical emergency.

Registration: 8:30-9:30

Round 1: 10:00-11:45

Lunch: 12:00-12:30

Round 2: 12:30-2:15

Round 3: 2:45-4:30

Awards: 4:30-5:00

JV and Varsity ballots will be done electronically so please make sure your JV/Varsity judges have their tabroom accounts linked to their judge account!

Not available at this tournament! So please make sure your entries are covered. If you're having trouble covering please email me and I'll see what I can do. Ultimately, if there is a shortage of judges we will be dropping entries from schools who failed to cover - please don't make me do it!

Payment:

Entry fees will cover light breakfast (granola bars and juice/water), lunch (Dominos pizza and juice/water), pre-dinner snack,  as well as operation costs.
