To reserve rooms, call the hotel's reservation line at:, 866-202-9771.  To receive the Group rate, let them know that you are booking with the Mid-America Cup 2018 Debate Tournament) group initially when making the reservation.  All reservations must be received by the group’s cut-off date: September 13, 2018. Reservations made after the cut-off date will be subject to availability and the most available rate.

Anticipated Schedule:

LD debate will be hosted at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School.

Policy and PF will be hosted at Valley High School.

Late elims on Monday will take place at the West Des Moines Marriott.

Friday, Septembe 21

Registration will be online. We will be at the Marriott to take changes and fees as necessary until 10:00 pm.

Saturday, September 22

8:00 am - Round 1

10:00 am - Round 2

Noon - Lunch break

1:00 pm - Round 3

4:00 pm - Round 4

Sunday, September 23 

8:00 am - Round 5

11:00 am - Round 6

Elims begin at 1:00 pm. A detailed elims schedule will be posted before the tournament. PF elims will be completed on Sunday afternoon and evening. Policy and LD will complete elims through octofinals.

Monday, September 24 - WDM Marriott

8:00 am - Quarterfinals

9:30 am - LD semis

10:30 am - Policy semis

11:00 am - LD finals

1:00 pm - Policy finals
