Penn for Youth Debate 11^th Annual Voices of Philadelphia Tournament

Dear Students, Parents, and Coaches,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 11^th annual Voices of

Philadelphia Debate Tournament, to be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017, in Cohen Hall at the University of Pennsylvania from 8:30 AM until 6:30 PM.

The Voices of Philadelphia Tournament is a completely free, program-wide debate

tournament for only Philadelphia schools. This tournament will provide an outlet for

debaters to utilize the analytical skills they gained during the past year in a competitive

format. We are inviting every student who has participated in any of the programs run by

Penn for Youth Debate and/or the After School Activities Partnership (ASAP) afterschool

programs to participate.

In order to prepare for the tournament, we request that all schools confirm the names

of students participating by Saturday, November 11th. You will be receiving an

electronic registration form soon, please fill it out promptly and send a confirmation

email to pennforyouthdebate@gmail.com. For coaches, there are a number of

items to be planned to make this great event possible, so please check and reply to your

emails.
