Notre Dame Parliamentary Debate Warm Up
2019 — San Jose, CA/US
Text of message
As of now, due to some recent drops, all teams have been moved off the waitlist into the tournament. Thank you for your patience through this process.
As a reminder, all registration fees will be set as of tomorrow, meaning all drops after Wednesday will incur drop fees.
Also, if you have not done so already, please enter your judges into Tabroom. We will be using online ballots again this year, so please make sure your judges have linked accounts ready to go for this weekend. If you are having problems fulfilling your judge obligations, please email me as soon as possible.
We will be providing food at no cost to judges and coaches. My staff and I will be mindful of all dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-intolerant), but you have any specific dietary restrictions for your judges, please let us know, and we would be more than happy to accommodate them.
But please note, we will NOT be providing lunch to competitors. The schedule has for a long lunch break to allow students to enjoy the many downtown San Jose food spots. Our ND students would be more than happy to provide some recommendations to your students. However, we will be selling beverages and concessions on campus in the prep room in between rounds.
Lastly, Notre Dame has started construction on a new building on campus, and parts of campus will be closed off. Instructions will be emailed to all coaches and judges regarding getting to and from campus, so please be on the look out for future emails about this weekend.
If you have any other questions about the tournament, please feel free to email me.
