5. Varsity Student Judges

Because we will not have a varsity division at this tournament, we will allow established varsity students to judge in the novice division. Student judges are required complete training before they will be given any ballots. This includes two things:

1. Complete the NSDA Judge Accreditation Level 1 & 2 for Policy Debate (Pre Tournament)
NSDA JUDGE ACCREDITATION is an ever-growing set of self-paced online judge certification modules. Upon successful completion of each module, they will be able to download a certificate and claim their badge in Tabroom.com.

I would like our judges for T8 to complete this and to give us feedback to help us decide if we should make this a requirement for our broader judge pool next season. In total the 2 modules should take 25 minutes.

2. Complete In-Person Check-In & Training (Day of Tournament)
All judges need to check-in at the judge's room prior to Round 1 for check-in and training. Student judges that are not present for this cannot be assigned ballots.
